- Chuck24 CLose to Sabago Lake, a few good eateries. We went to Capt. Jacked, dog friendly if you sit outside on pouch. Food good but expensive. Theres a boat ramp within two miles that we brought our dog Cooper to for a swim.7 months ago Loon’s Haven Family Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
The RVLife GPS tried to take me down a road that no longer goes all the way through. If it tries to take you on Trail 231, abort! (Although there is a very nice lady who lives there who will help you turn around if you need it!) You need to take Road 229 (from the west) or Road 232 (from the east) to Road 218 to enter the campground.

“Nice State Park”
Nightly Rate: $32 USD
This is a nice State Park close to I-75. We stayed there one night. Paved campsites with trees. We camped at Van Buren State Park in a Travel Trailer.
