- ThePewterPalace Get any ice, gas and groceries you need before checking into base. If you have not been to the base before, you will need to get registered at the Visitor Center to the immediate right of the main gate first. Could be tight pulling around and back out to the gate. The guard allowed us to park inside the gate to go in and register. The Magic Tree Pub just SW of Youngstown had great huge fresh baked pretzels and fabulous beer cheese dip and good wings.3 years ago Youngstown Air Reserve Station FamCamp
