We followed a tip from a previous reviewer and ate at The Lady Queen in Enon, about 10 miles or so from the campground. It was excellent. Highly recommend.
Tips from campers about Wright-Patterson AFB Bass Lake FamCamp
- Lisa and Wayne Definitely check out the National Museum of the United States Air Force if you like planes! Entrance and parking is free though you may want to donate to its support. The museum takes a full day or more to see and absorb everything. The National Museum of the US Air Force is better than I expected it to be. If you are an aviation enthusiast, plan on visiting for at least a couple of days. The museum is excellent.

Tip for Other Campers:
Use gate 12A. If departing towards I75 north, GPS may try to take you to a commercial gate that may or may not be open. Gate 12A is 24/ gate and is suitable for big rigs.
