Very quiet and peaceful in February. We camped at Lake Murray State Park - Elephant Rock in a Travel Trailer.

Nightly Rate: $32 USD
Nice park but strangely there is very little wildlife anywhere. Trail markers are confusing. We camped at Lake Murray State Park - Elephant Rock in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Dont hike anywhere north of Pecan Grove. Trails and not well marked and it is very easy to get lost.
