  hikingyogi There is a ton of stuff to do in Beavers Bend State Park and in Hochatown (which is to the west). In the park, there is zip lining, swincars, hiking, beaches, paddleboard rentals, canoe rentals, horse rides, fishing, boating, a nature center, restaurant, and even train rides. In Hochatown, there are a lot of restaurants, go carts, a petting zoo, several wineries, an escape room, a couple of small amusement areas, jeep rentals, boat rentals, tons of gift shops, and helicopter tours. The park has approximately 20 hiking trails of various lengths. Most of these trails are mountainous, so please wear good hiking shoes and take lots of water and snacks that will give you bursts of energy. I would also advise downloading the OK State Parks app or checking the Travelok web site, which will both give you information on the trails, including elevation gain. I also use the AllTrails app, which saved me on almost every trail we hiked when I got off course. This is a truly beautiful park and you will barely know that you're in Oklahoma.

  RVepiphany They have a new restaurant in the park called Foggy Bottom. We didn't eat there. The one night we tried to eat there, it had a 45 min wait. So we decided to drive into town and eat something there. But, Foggy Bottom looked like it must be good to have so many people waiting to eat there.
