Excellent location for visiting Norman. Campground had full hookups on large concrete slabs with ample space to park my tow vehicle. The adjacent spaces were about 20 feet away - plenty of room....

Tip for Other Campers:
Use the entrance off Porter St to enter as it is close to the full hook-up paved loops. Was-mart is about 1.5 miles east; fuel stations are nearby; Van's Pig Stand down Porter is a great meal place. OU is just down the road and access to the Freeway is not to far away to the west.
Tips from campers about Cleveland County Fairgrounds
- hikinghack Restaurant and casino nearby. Otherwise, there is not a lot to do here, unless you want to explore the desert parts of Lake Mead. Personally, I enjoy sitting out at night, watching the lights of passing traffic and listening for the whistle of a train or the howl of a coyote. Sites are separated by a tree and shrubs. Site was short, but I was able to squeeze in without having to unhook. Park is just off hwy 95, but you are far enough back from it. This is one of my favorite stops.9 years ago Cal-Nev-Ari RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
If you need a laundromat, the Hollywood Coin Laundry on East Alameda is only a couple of miles away. It's one of the cleanest laundromats we've been to in a long time. A supermarket, Ace Hardware, and Walmart are in that area too.
