  ClaireOKC Even though it's cooler, beware of the chiggers. Hiking up to the top of the mountain is a piece of cake and well worth the time and effort. Make sure you store up on supplies from the store before you go because it's a good hour drive to any grocery store. There are a few convenience stores closer, but that's it.
