Tips from campers about Idlewild Campground

  • Life-at-20mph Be aware of pedestrians and traffic flow; NO traffic lights, very FEW stop signs. Campground entrance is at top of hill near the Frozen Custard shop (not at harbor bridge!
  • Jomike At campground you can swim, theres a children play set and an adult been bag toss. Little shop had everything! Pets were on a leash & quiet. Kids were laughing & having fun.
  • Patrick8200 Kewaunee is a picturesque town. Home to the world's largest grandfather clock and the tug boat "Ludington" Tug Ludington actually participated in the D-Day invasion at Normandy. There is only one grocery store in town, a Piggly Wiggly. It's not huge, but I was pretty impressed at how much inventory that actually had, prices weren't bad either. The closest car wash is Luxemburg, 15 miles away. Green Bay is about 30 miles away.
