- Deanna_Hince_823 We went to Renaissance Festival on Opening Weekend. It is only open on weekends the last two weekends in August and all the weekends of September. Be sure to check out the website for going to the Park and Rides for $6 per person to take a bus over to the Festival and dropped off close to the entrance. Much easier than parking on the grounds for $15 and a long walk. You could easily spend two days at this Festival as large as the venue is. The shows are fantastic, the food is varied and delicious, and the shops have so much to offer. This is a great place to take family of all ages. There are many Disc Golf Courses around the area. We visited two of them while we were here. We went to Lion's Park DGC in Shakopee. It will be a great course once they are done remodeling it. Very flat and open with big Oak Trees. The Long Course is just about completed. They need to put in the Short Course and remove all the extra tee pads. The second course we went to was in the top 10 we have ever been to at Bryant Lake DGC in Eden Prairie. They have professional level down to short to short course level tees! Very hilly and a lot of fun!! We rode our bikes from the Campground to The Landing, which is a village restored from the 1800s. We had to ride on the streets at first, but most of the time they had a bike lane. Once you got on the Minnesota State Bike Trail, they were beautiful and very well maintained. Even have a Bike Bridge over the major highway.8 months ago Town & Country RV Park and Campground
- Khall2021 Nearby are museums, lakes, National Wildlife Refuge, waterfalls. Use Atlas Obscura to find interesting off-the-beaten path attractions9 months ago Town & Country RV Park and Campground
- Robert Dees The Windmill Cafe is just down the road and has an excellent breakfast. A trip to the Mall of America was worth the time. The Minnesota Zoo is beautiful and would warrant a day trip.10 months ago Town & Country RV Park and Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Multnomah Falls and the lodge is a must see, only 15 miles away. Also, we went to Thunder Island Brewing to eat, decent food, but awesome view. We sat on the patio overlooking Columbia River and Bridge of the Gods it was nice.
