Tips from campers about Big Pines RV Park
- narasr Crater Lake National Park is a must see when you're here. The north entrance may be closed (usually opens very late May) so you'll have to travel about 1.5 hours to the South Entrance. But if you have a beautiful day and can see the lake, it is spectacular. The web site says you'll have a 20% chance to see the lake. We had a perfect day and the lake is the most incredible blue that you will ever see.4 years ago Big Pines RV Park
- A Life After Trauma We didnt make it to the lake due to a truck breakdown. Shawn & Alena from High Country Automotive, located just down the street from the campground, came out on a Sunday afternoon and rescued us from the side of the road 6 miles from Crater Lake. - Diane and Tom There is a brochure in the office that shows 4 different long, scenic drives in the region. GO! They are beautiful. You are 20 miles south of Lapine, and 30 miles south of Bend. Tip for Other Campers:
We adventured out to Salt Creek Falls and Diamond Falls. So beautiful. Lots of other things to do here. The owner was very nice helpful in all aspects.

Very friendly staff and easy access. A great base camp to visit the area. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again when in the area. We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.
