- Scott Bogdog Heckman If you want to be close to the shops and restaurants and spend money at the water front this is close. If you are looking to be out in nature and hike wide open beaches or thick forest parks look elsewhere. Not much to do here if you want to stay away from traffic and enjoy nature. We enjoyed it here. It rained a lot, and we love the rain. Glad we don't live here, though. We camped at Thousand Trails South Jetty in a Motorhome.

Is this park really big rig friendly? We need to know as we have a 43 foot D RV fifth wheel and pull it with a semi truck....

“Close to everything ”

If you like off road ATVing. This is the place for you. Sand dunes everywhere. Old town is cute and walkable. Town has everything. We camped at Thousand Trails South Jetty in a Motorhome.
