Tip for Other Campers:
If you are staying here to visit the fossil beds, it is a 30 mile drive to the closet site and 60 to the painted hills. We did a lot more driving than we hoped. John Day is nearby for fuel, groceries, restaurants, etc.
“Tidy ”

This is a little gem. Very orderly, good space between sites. Nice hiking trails, babbling brook, and TeePees. We camped at Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site in a Travel Trailer.

- rv time Do not forget your water pressure regulator. The water pressure here is strong.

- Tony Deakins Bring cash. Using a card will cost extra. Electric connection appears to be 50 amp + 20 amp only no 30 amp.

What a lovely park so green and taken care of! No sewer just electric and water at the site, they do have a dump station for use We camped at Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site in a Fifth Wheel.
