“Beautiful Campground”
Nightly Rate: $33 USD
We camped in January in site #22. Because of the hills and trees around the campground, #22 was in the shade all day, and often the frost on the ground never melted around our site. We later moved to...

Tip for Other Campers:
Cafe Gemma in Port Orford is a delicious place for dinner! It is small with capacity of approximately 30 people. The dining experience is cozy and intimate. The food was excellent. Reservations are recommended.
“Very clean State Park”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
We spent 5 nights here at Site 14 in the A Loop. It was a little more cramped than I expected from the campground map, but it was fine, only 1 block from level. The sites on the inside of the loop...

Tip for Other Campers:
Four full days so we did a lot, especially since we had 3 great weather days. Laundry at Duds 'n Suds first thing in the morning left the rest of the day to hike: Port Orford Head (saw a couple of seals) and Battle Rock Beach. Longish drive to the Cape Arago area. Beautiful hike from Sunset Bay SP to the adjacent Shore Acres SP, where the dahlias were in...

“Nice Park; right off 101”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Nice park just off the 101, there is some road noise from the 101, but it dies down at night with windows closed. We camped at Humbug Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
We ate at Crazy Norwegians in town, definitely not the best fish i ever had and they were out of 2 fruit flavored pies. Small place. They have outside seating, but it was cold the night we were there, only maybe 6 tables in side. So much to do and see along the 101; get out and do some trails even if they are short.
“Forest and calm”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Lovely forest green glen. But not for big rigs. We camped at Humbug Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.
