Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Rockaway beach (the water will be cold, but its great to see), also consider riding the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway which runs from Rockaway to Girabaldi and back.

This is a great place for families, we learnt a lot about crabbing and watched others do doc crabbing, which was fun! Next time, I would like to stay for 2 nights to do some crabbing and explore more. The docs were safe, children have to wear life vests on them and the water around the marina was calm and peaceful.
