Tip for Other Campers:
Be prepared for wind. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife charges a $10.00 parking fee for use of the management area and for overnight camping in the Summer Lake Wildlife Area. An 8.3 mile tour route bisects the management area.

Tip for Other Campers:
Birding, swimming and fishing in Ana's Reservoir. Get a permit at the local store for entering the refuge, which includes camping. Stop at the Refuge Office for information. Ranger was very helpful. Water is available there, also. Lodge across the highway has good food.
Tips from campers about Summer Lake Wildlife Area
- Prillm__275 Sleeping Bear Dunes is a must; absolutely beautiful. Point Betsie Lighthouse and Frankfort Light are very photogenic. Roadhouse and Birch & Maple have great food. The Betsie Valley Trail was an awesome bike ride from Beulah to Frankfort.11 months ago Timberline Campground
