Novelty of Air Museum is worth the visit. The airport and RV Park are on the remains of the decommissioned WWII Naval Air Station Tillamook. Costal surveillance Blimps were launched from this Base in WWII.
Simple, basic toilets are to the left of the to the RV Office. There are no showers!

This is dry camping next to the Tillamook airport. Sites are paved back in in an open field. We got there after hours and they only accept cash in an iron ranger. The place is fine for and overnight...

If you like oysters, drive about 10 miles north of the camp to Bay City to the Pacific Seafood company and restaurant. Look for the building sticking out in the bay in Bay City. Reasonable prices. On Wednesdays they have an all you want to eat oyster special for $14. You can observe the workers shucking the oysters behind glass walls.
