Tips from campers about Lackawanna State Park
- TheGs Make sure you are much smaller than what the max trailer size is. We actually had another stay already booked and ended up cancelling after we checked that site out and determined it would be a tight fit again.3 years ago Lackawanna State Park

- Jersey RV POOL - The entire pool area was closed. The pool was drained, and supporting structures (bathrooms and food concession) appeared to be in disrepair (on 06-17-24) despite their site saying it was open. FIREWOOD - Do not purchase firewood from the concessionaire. They sold us three bundles of firewood, each with five pieces of wood, for $20. They stated it was dry, yet when we brought it to our site and removed the shrink wrap that night, the wood was very wet, with some pieces nearly dripping wet. HIKING - The trails are very poorly marked if marked at all. Most times they were a faint dirt trail. Our All Trails app saved us many times with GPS guidance. KAYAKING - The kayaking is very nice as only fishing boats with small electric motors are allowed. No noise and no wake.10 months ago Lackawanna State Park
