Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Site was barely long enough and it wasn't level. So, we could not put our slides out We camped at Walmar Manor Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Pennsylvania countryside is spectacular. Loved the drive to Carlisle. Recommend in Carlisle: the Rustic Tavern, old school bar and restaurant. Also, Momma Spriggs excellent modern fare, in Dillsburg, Bakers Diner is great.I love big portion meals and the hamburger steak was delicious.
Tips from campers about Walmar Manor Campground
- rd9999 Hanna Park is convenient to good restaurants. Check out Safe Harbor Seafood, Engine 15 Brewing (great Cuban sandwich and excellent beer) and Metro Diner for breakfast or lunch. Or take the nearby ferry across the St. John's River to Sandollar Restaurant for some great seafood.7 years ago Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park
- Miles and Smiles Site 269 looks like a pull-through, but it's not. We pulled in nose first so that we'd have privacy in our sitting area, but you could back in if you prefer. OK...MANY permanent campers. Not that well maintained. Sites very close together. We camped at Walmar Manor Campground in a Truck Camper.

What a nice little campground hiding behind a nice mobile home park. They do cater to more long term RVs that are getting fairly run down, but the overnight spots are nice and our 43" fifth wheel fit...

Tip for Other Campers:
Check out the Garden of Eden Farmers Market only 3 miles to the east. Gettysburg is only 30 miles south. For any military the Carlisle Barracks Commissary is only 15 miles northwest!
