Tip for Other Campers:
We enjoyed Johnson Creek Tavern (2 miles?) and Seaside Bar and Grill (4 miles). And if you havent toured Beaufort, its a very nice place to visit with a historic downtown.

Beach biking and trail walking/biking. Campground is located before the park entrance so had to turn around.
Tips from campers about Hunting Island State Park
- Grove&Pam The RV resort is a few miles from town so it's best to pick up some supplies before arriving. Do not bring your own fire to this park. “Great location right by the ocean”

Nice park right on the beach, a little costly without full hookups. We camped at Hunting Island State Park in a Motorhome.
