Tips from campers about Latta, SC
- mj1angier If you go in mid to late Sept., check if the persimmon tree at the trash can across from bathhouse has fruit. We we able to pick up a few very sweet fruit.
- Mark_64603ab88e529 We were in C-15 and had a nice lake view, 'semi-private' path that led to the lake. Nice fallen tree made a perfect bench. C34 area may have had a better / close lake view. Disconnect any tow vehicle NLT dump station before going into Loop B or C. Not sure on A, but loop roads and camp site entrances do not allow for pull off area. Neuse River and American Tobacco Trail are two very nice bike paths.
- Francis_837 There is a sign at the restroom which stated that Crosswinds Loop C had vulture problems. They could tear the rubber seals from your vehicle or camper, among other nastiness. We heard staff set off pyrotechnics to scare them off. Other
