“Great campground close to lots of stuff especially if have kids”
Nightly Rate: $36 USD
Large park with 2 campgrounds, zoo, amusement park, hiking trails etc. Great place if have young kids. Nice sites and showers/bathrooms We camped at Wylie Park & Storybook Land in a Motorhome.

Great park, only complaint is they need to update the showers/restrooms. We camped at Wylie Park & Storybook Land in a Motorhome.

There was a lot to do on site. Storybook Land, The Land of Oz, a lake. Athletic fields, picnic areas, go karts, bumper boats, paved bike/walking paths, bike/skate rentals, Wildlife Exhibit.

There are lots of pros to this campground. It's run by the city, I think - not a private campground. A huge con is their subcontracted online reservation system. BEWARE the features you choose online...

Tip for Other Campers:
We hear Pounder's is good for burgers and such, a little small (cozy). We went to Maverick's Steak and Cocktails for a little more upscale steak and salmon dinner. It came recommended to us and we also recommend it.

Wylie is a great campground on the edge of Aberdeen. Clean, with decently spaced very level sites and lots of grass. Nice fire rings with adjustable grill tops. Wi-Fi (open network- be careful)...

Twist Cone ice cream, Pounders Pub & Grub (great burgers and sandwiches and nachos!) $1 Monday wing night at Lagers Inn (theyre good!!), visit the Dakotah Prairie Museum if you have time and the great little downtown area
