The sites are road pull offs but are ok. We enjoyed it very much over all We camped at Lake Vermillion Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

This State park is one of our favorite stops. Then spaces are far enough apart that you barely notice you have neighbors. Lots of open space to walk the dog and plenty of places for the kids to ride...

Tip for Other Campers:
There is very easy access to this park. Coming up from the south, we went west off of I-29 on Hwy 42, per RV Life GPS and it was a very good road through beautiful countryside. When leaving we took 451st Ave and went straight north of the park 5 mi to I-90.
