“Beautiful park”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Very nice park , we stayed one night! Host was very accommodating. Park was clean! We camped at West Whitlock Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about West Whitlock Recreation Area
- Wanderintohappiness Stock up before you get there. Mountain Village, the only grocery store since Jerrys closed, has had some bare shelves since COVID and is very pricey. Only nearby dump station is at the rangers station but is closed indefinitely for repairs. Get your fishing license online before you lose cell coverage.3 years ago Salmon River Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Remember to bring everything that you need with you! The nearest Wal-Mart is 46 miles away in Pierre. There is a Dollar General in Gettysburg which is 15 miles away. We would definatly stop again is we were passing though the area.
