Dynamite staff, super helpful. Common buildings and pool are in nice shape, although the laundry facilities could use a better cleaning regime. Older park with tiny and close sites. Nice wide streets....

Tips from campers about Encore Alamo Palms
- JLT Our reason for coming to this area was to see Silver Falls State Park which has 10 waterfalls within an eight mile loop trail. It was wonderful. Highly recommend doing this hike. There is also a park down by the river in Salem called the River Front Park I think. It is a very nice, and very large park, with trails for walking, biking, roller skating, or skate boarding. Highly recommend this park also.4 years ago Phoenix RV Park
- User5766 Try going to Silver Falls State Park which is only 20 miles away. You will get to see some beautiful water falls! There are 10 of them that you can hike to. The largest is the Upper North Falls. Park at the North Falls trailhead and it is only .3 mi easy walk to the falls. Another one is the South Falls which is down the way to the South Falls Day Use Area. This is a very tall falls with a little hike down hill, but not bad. It was definitely worth doing. The walkway takes you behind the falls. Those are the only 2 we saw but will be back to see more another time. It is $5 per vehicle to park. Also The Columbia River Gorge National Park and Multnomah Falls are about 50 miles away. We will be doing that tommorrow. Check to see if you need reservations. We didn't in September but heard you did in the summer months.2 years ago Phoenix RV Park
- Rupejk Almost any store or restraunts you want in close proximity. Elmer's Restaurant had the best breakfast, try the potato pancakes.8 months ago Phoenix RV Park

“The friendliest people in 44 of the 50 states we stayed at in our 5+ years as full time RVers.”
Nightly Rate: $178 USD
We were here 4 days when we started looking for a Unit to buy in this park. We never expected it to happen, but we have enjoyed the people and the endless activities here so much, that we bought I...

At this time, there is a good choice of places to purchase here. A lot of the people here are heading back to their homes for good due to age. Many younger couples are buying here right now. This trend should go on for a while. We got in while the prices are still fair.
“Nice place to stay in South Texas”

This is a nice park. It's well laid out and well-maintained. We had an issue tripping the 50-amp breaker, which was fixed within 30 minutes or so. Staff is friendly, and they have their own post...

Tip for Other Campers:
Mexican fast casual - Taco Palenque OMG! Mambo's for good seafood (and yummy fried rice). Cheddar's is probably the best chain casual dining experience ever, and their onion rings are to die for! Also, H-E-B has the best store-bought tortilla chips and tamales I've every had.

“First experience - 55+ RV Resort”

Experience was what we should have anticipated, not what we imagined, but thats our fault. For what it is, and given we have no previous experience, likely average. We camped at Encore Alamo Palms in...
