Tip for Other Campers:
Houston Space Center, San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, Galveston Island State Park are recommended sites to visit. Noah's Ark Restaurant is close and on water front. Good food, but very busy local hangout at night.

TBone Toms is always good and has a band most nightsNoahs Ark is a local hang out with view on water. Good food, great drinks.

- ChetW Area right outside the park is a little undesirable best to ride into College Park for food or supplies.
- Bmsmrsc Try out Mama Lucia in College Park only 4 minutes away from campground. The night monument tour was excellent.

The staff were very helpful with making our reservation. The campground is small but clean. Our site was just long enough for our rig. At least it was wide enough to also accomodate our tow vehicle....
