  graumis If you want to walk your dog, it's only a 5 minute drive to Hillcrest Park. (It's a nice city park even if you don't have a dog. One of the best I've seen for such a small city.)

  RVL348973 Leals has excellent Mexican food. Visit Norman Petty Studios where Buddy Holly and Waylon Jennings recorded many hits. There is also a Norman Petty Museum on Main St.

  RomaDreamTeam Definitely go to Leals for Mexican Food, you are in between Clovis and Portales (12 miles away) so you have many options to choose from including access to two Walmarts between the two towns.
