Tip for Other Campers:
Great free museum at the Courthouse. We enjoyed the Moody Mansion and the Bishops House and the historic harbor tour, all through the Galveston Historical Foundation. Worth the price of admission. The harbor tour includes access to the sailing ship Elissa.

“Close to beach ”

Site was good; quiet; short walk to beach. WiFi was pretty useless. We camped at Sandpiper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Ride e-bikes on seawall as much as 10 miles oneway and back. Ride e-bikes to East end of Islamd and back along the hard sand beaches. And theres Katies seafood on the harbor.
