Tip for Other Campers:
Seven seas grocery store is such a nice store for food and even souvenirs. We ate at the waterman 8 mins away and was amazing, slightly pricey. Jimmy on the pier on seawall drive is worth it.

We will probably stay closer to the Seawall. This is not a resort experience in my opinion. We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Jamaica Beach RV Park
- John & Susan Hahn Our particular site faced NE so the passenger side of our rig received direct sunlight the majority of the day. Highly recommend looking at sites oriented to the SW so your patio areas will block the afternoon sun.1 year ago Jamaica Beach RV Park
- JPO Good restaurants near Jamaica Beach but most of the great restaurants and activities will be in Galveston which is a 20 minute drive heading east. For shopping theres The Strand and dont forget to do the tour of all the old homes in the historic district. We had lunch @ Koop's BBQ & it was the best pulled pork & brisket we have ever had! Mac & cheese was also delicious! We toured Moody mansion & Bishop's castle, which were nice. The Houston Space Center was highlight of trip!
