Be careful going to your site. The roads are narrow, the turns are tight and there's campsites right at the turns. Something for the owner to consider would be to take one foot on each side of the road and make it wider. Losing two feet from
My site wouldn't hurt me but gaining two feet on the road would be amazing. BTW, we have a 43' Class A.

On site food truck with good options, Hunt Brothers Pizza in office. Recommended the nearby Vernados Mexican Cantina.

Galveston is a cool little town with lots of history, however, very touristy.About a mile from the park is Venados-best nachos I think Ive had!

Seven seas grocery store is such a nice store for food and even souvenirs. We ate at the waterman 8 mins away and was amazing, slightly pricey. Jimmy on the pier on seawall drive is worth it.
