“Spacious and Clean”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Our space was large and the park is beautifully maintained. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Lone Star Corral in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
We were only here one night and so we didn't explore the area. San Antonio is a hour away and we passed an adorable historic French town about 30 minutes away, Castroville, between the Park and San Antonio.

Tips from campers about Lone Star Corral
- LL03 The Old Forge area is wonderful with lots of things to do for adults and kids. If you have trouble with a "too high" sewer pipe at your site, look into buying a Camco Rhino Sewer Hose Support. It works much better than the slinky style.7 months ago HTR Adirondacks Campground
- favoritebird Old Forge is a touristy area and very busy during the main season. There are many places to eat--we liked Walt's diner for breakfast. There are numerous places to enjoy hiking, paddling, etc. We enjoyed a paddle on the Moose River and rented a canoe from Mountainman. Garner SP is 45 miles away. The Frio River had plenty of refreshing clear water for swimming.

DHainis has 2 decent places: Cowboys and Jalisco. Hondo has a good coffee shop, Silver Creek. Bandera is a fun visit: The Cowboy Capital of the World!
