The immediate surrounding area is void of any amenities. However, the highway on ramp is literally across the road, which is very nice, so its just a few minutes drive to reach activities and restaurants.

“Oasis in the city”
Nightly Rate: $70 USD
This park has the widest well kept roads ever! The park is pretty though trash does accumulate around the edges of the park. I love the club house and the staff is wonderful. I would stay here again....

Tip for Other Campers:
You will need a vehicle to get to shopping or restaurants as this is not a walking community. The park shuttle only goes to MD Anderson. The park has free high pressure air to fill tires on full sized rigs.

Taste of Texas for great meal!
Outdoor shooting - sporting clays, skeet/trap at American Shooting Sports Range - open to the public
Be prepared for poor road conditions around park - some roads are one way so you do not have a choice, entrance to park can be quick once you turn
