Tips from campers about Treeside RV Resort
- 2SimsNanRV There is a large parking area near the Shell station, about 1 mile from the park. Easy hitching/unhitching here. Alto Cafe has good food. Visit Lincoln, NM, historic and scenic drive.5 years ago Eagle Creek RV Resort
- TMN-15 Come with propane tanks filled. Cortez Gas (the only area bulk supplier) is located at the eastern outskirts of Ruidoso, past WalMart, next to the Shamrock station. From this CG, its quite a trek.3 years ago Eagle Creek RV Resort
- Shenandoah410 Texas Grill (steaks), Anaheim Jacks (Burgers), Mountain of the Gods Casino, Smokey Bear Historical Park - all fantastic.7 months ago Eagle Creek RV Resort

Tip for Other Campers:
Outlets close by. Eat at Blacks BBQ, drive into Buda (cute small town ). Austin has a hike and bike trail (Ladybird Lake) that is worth doing with bats that fly out in the evening from the Congress Bridge. There is a swimming hole also in Austin and the rodeo.

We stayed 6 weeks at the park in a 43 foot fifth wheel. The park itself is quiet, however there is substantial road noise(You can see I-35 thru the trees). There are also large trucks that run all day...

Be sure to check out Gruene! Such a great little area. And youll want to eat at The Gristmill (its built around the remains of an old cotton gin). And try to see a concert at Gruene Hall. We went to Gozales to see the Come and Take It canon. And did the Shinerbock tour on the way back. Also the Natural Bridge Cave tours. Those were amazing and Id highly...
