“Compact campground”
Nightly Rate: $49 USD
Good location for our stay to visit relatives. Watch for low branches throughout the park. We camped at Tejas Valley RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

- consmith Athens is a beautiful town and lots of good restaurants. Many roads to ride around and see the country. It was neat to ride downtown.4 years ago Lake Snowden
- Ol JB Athens offers plenty of shopping. We drove around and looked at campus. Interesting downtown area that is worth walking around. Ate lunch at O'Betty's Red Hot. Very good hot dogs with some interesting and excellent combinations of toppings. Small hot dog "museum". We happened to be there when the owner was working. We didn't eat till 2:30 PM, so he had time to talk to us, and show us around the "museum".7 years ago Lake Snowden

Located just 10 minutes from Sea World and La Cantera. Only 20 minutes from the Downtown San Antonio, The Alamo and only 20 minutes from Fiesta Texas and the Rim. If you have never been to a HEB plus store you need to go to one about 2 miles away. 313 pizza parlor also has great, great Detroit style pizza!!!!!
