- BTyler3 The nearby National Historic Site is great for viewing caribou and foxes (inquire at the park visitor center). There is also a nice lighthouse to photograph. The restaurant selection is limited in Port aux Choix, but the Sea Echo had some good food. The trip to L'anse Aux Meadows, the site of probably the first Viking settlement, is about a 2-1/2 hour drive but well worth it.7 months ago Oceanside RV Park
