“Very appropriately named park”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
An old park that is well managed. Very friendly staff. Lots of full timers. It is on the Guadalupe river. Shaded by large Pecan trees. We camped at River Shade RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just outside of Seguin, Texas which has all commercial activities.

Nice campground, mostly permanent residents and a handful of overnighters. Park cable available. But I'd rather have internet. We camped at River Shade RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about River Shade RV Park
- Launce The big cruise ships can't access Petersburg, so it's a real town. Just walk the main drag, waterfront, shop the stores. Lunch at Coastal Cold Storage. I took a terrific tour over to LeConte Glacier, with Tongass Kayak Adventures-- basically Scott Roberge, a funny, very knowledgeable guy. The tour included kayaking (my back was sore so I hiked a bit). If I'd been there for more than a week, I'd have taken his whale-watching excursion, too.6 years ago Frog's RV Park

If you want to relax in the shade and have access to the river this place is great. They're also honest. They don't have WiFi and they tell you that. Can't count the number of campgrounds that claim...

Youre a 30 minute drive to San Antonio and New Braunfels. Tons of things to do and tourist attractions!

“A very accommodating patk”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
We have stayed here a few times and every time I call them, they always get us a spot. We camped at River Shade RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
