Thank you for the recommendation, Allen! We’re so glad you’ve been enjoying your stay with us over the past few months. We appreciate you being part of our community and look forward to continuing to have you here!

Tips from campers about Plantation Place RV Park

  • JohnnyVanTucky Book the forest loop or the west side of the beach loop for shelter from the wind. Also triple check the website so you're aware of the facilities that are available.
  • rvlife_66ff22c06e0cd The GPS is WRONG!! Go straight onto the fort, even though the GPS says to turn left and go down the outside. That entrance is closed and you will have to back track through neighborhoods that were never designed for a44 RV
  • BillCoa411 Explore all the trails and military installations. Walk the bluff trail and make sure you get to the Chinese Gardens area. The Guard House bar/restaurant serves some good drinks in a unique "jail" atmosphere. PT (Port Townsend) has a lot to offer. Restaurants, unique stores, waterfront exploration, etc. If you like that kind of exploration then make sure to save some time for doing that. Sirens is a funky/cool restaurant bar on the water. Also check out Quimper's Mercantile. Finistere restaurant in Uptown PT is great.

Thanks for the detailed review! That’s great advice about the best route for taller rigs—accessibility matters, and we’re sure future guests will appreciate the heads-up. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting, level sites, and walking trails around the pond. It’s also good to know Verizon service is strong there. Hope to see you back again soon!

We did not stay long, we were traveling through but wanted to see some sites around Dallas. The setting is beautiful and while the roads and sites are dirt, they were well groomed. The greenery is...

Thank you for sharing your experience, WylieCoyote! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful setting and well-maintained grounds during your short stay. We appreciate your feedback on the lack of a pool—while we don’t have one, we’ll keep it in mind for future improvements. We're thrilled that the WiFi exceeded your expectations! Safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back for a longer stay next time.

RV Life will not route you here! At least for the foreseeable future. There is a bridge out as of 3/28/25. It looks like theyve been working on it for a while and they have a long way to go. Follow...
