Tip for Other Campers:
Do your shopping well in advance. Water water water. Bring some binoculars cause you will see wild life! 1.5 hours to big bend (even though maps will tell you 22 minutes)
Tips from campers about Terlingua Ranch Lodge
- Hogan F Tortilla Flats was a cool bar and a great ride on the trike. Going to the Dam was on a dirt road, and very rough road (car or truck only) Westgate mall and Fiesta bowl was great Mesa swap meet is worth a walk. Pima air and space museum was awesome. Tip for Other Campers:
Unless you like to drive gravel roads for long distances don't take the road back to Hwy 385. It is much faster to go the other direction to Hwy 118.

Go slow down the dirt road to reduce the rattles. Be sure you have plenty of supplies as there isn't much nearby.
