Capitol Reef was great, better than expected. The Gifford House near the visitor center sells fresh baked pies that were excellent. You have to be there soon after they open because they sell out early! Worth the stop. Great hikes and scenery. Goblin Valley State Park shouldn't be missed. $20 entrance fee. Very small town. Make sure you are pretty well stocked. Visit BLM office and get brochures and ask staff questions about the outdoor sites or activities you might want to do.
