Tip for Other Campers:
One thing to be aware of, rain or snow can cause desert roads to become impassible. Make sure to check with the NPS or BLM prior to wandering the desert roads. We would highly suggest the Cathedral Valley and Burr Trail roads. A four wheel drive vehicle is highly suggested for Cathedral Valley.

We visited Capital Reefs, went to Gifford house, defiantly try the pies and the cinnamon rolls. They sell out fast so go there by 9.

Tip for Other Campers:
Capital Reef park is only 10 miles away and a visitors center is across the street from Rv park. Up the hill across the street is the Broken Spur Inn and Steakhouse. We paid it a visit and my ribeye was cooked to perfection and almost melted in my mouth it was delicious.

“Nice facility in Torrey”
Nightly Rate: $62 USD
Spent a couple of nights here as we explored Capitol Reef N.P. Site was great with the largest lawn and site area in the entire camp. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.
