If you want to go to an authentic country store, not a tourist trap, Hero Welcome General Store in North Hero is worth the drive. The store is the whole first floor and part of the second floor and has a bunch of stuff you might need or want.

Drove to Stowe, Waterbury, and Smugglers Notch. Lots of on-site activities as well, including nature walks at the resort.
