“One of the best state parks we have stayed at.”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
A large park with beach access and lots of walking and biking trails. We had a nice shaded spot. We camped at Kiptopeke State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
We ate seafood at tithe Shanty dog friendly. The closest one was take out with the dog passed it up Drove around Old Cape Charles Town. LOT of places to eat. A few brewery,ciders and seen on Distillery.

- NOrientor This season the park had to discontinue offering sewer hook-ups on several of their sites. Water and electric still available in RV loops A, B and C. Near quaint town of Cape Charles. Quiet historic rural area.3 years ago Kiptopeke State Park

Really nice park, but more of a parking lot of campers than the state park feel. Sites are close. Some are spacious, some are not. C15 claims its good for 50' but 38' was pretty tight. Also narrow...

Coming from Virginia it is right after the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The harbor has several WWII concrete ships retired after the war. Hiking, fishing, bird watching! We camped at Kiptopeke State Park...
