Tips from campers about Hungry Mother State Park
- Kaniut Youre within about an hour of all the great things the upper peninsula offers. Gladstone bay and Escanaba have veterinary services. Escanaba also has Aldis, Walmart several restaurants worthy frequenting to include a brewery.9 months ago Gladstone Bay Campground

Enjoyed hiking around the lake and listening to the stream as it ran past our site. We camped at Hungry Mother State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Site # 32 is next to the bathhouse and had a nice hillside and stream view. It was however, a little close to the dumpster area. Only sites 32 through 36 faced the hillside and the stream, and were full hookup. Other full hookup sites faced the road.

Tip for Other Campers:
Couple miles outside the park is mini-golf and drive-in movie theater. We visited early April and wasn't open yet.
