Great park and beautiful lake for kayaking. Paved and level sites. We camped at Boundary Dam Campground in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
If your time allows, take the road north out of Metaline Falls to the Vista House and Peewee Falls overlook.

- BandD Metaline Falls is cute little town with a couple good eateries. Also ate at Western Star Bar and Grill in Metaline - great burgers and Philly steak sandwiches. Be sure to stop at Sweet Water Falls about 2 miles south of town, RV or car parking, picnic sites and 1/4 mile walk to falls, we especially liked the "upper" one and middle fork to see the series of falls. Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to go tour Gardner Cave. It's only about 3-4 miles away and is a wonderful cavern. The tour is free but there is a donation box. We didn't do it, but there are also tours of the dam. If you have a boat, take it out along the east side of the bay to the next cove for a wonderful view of PeeWee Falls, a 100 ft waterfall viewable only by boat.
