“Great Park. Worth the Sketchy Road to Get There”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
Pro: Wonderful park. Very large with multiple camping areas ranging from full hookup to primitive. All campsites adjacent to a lake or the stream feeding the lake. The lake was nearly empty (on...

Tip for Other Campers:
Huntington is close by with lots to do. Good restaurants. Walmart is over the bridge in Ohio but it's not far away. It's paired with a Sam's Club.
“Great West Virginia Park!”

Very nice campground & park. Lots of trails, bike paths, fitness trails, frisbee golf, fishing & history. Check out the Bowen Cemetery while here. Most campsites are very level & all are pull-throughs...

Tip for Other Campers:
The final road to the park is skinny & curvy, but do not let it discourage you. You will make it just fine. You might make your non-driving partner go ride in the back to avoid nervous reactions. Just saying... We drove a 36' MH towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee with no issues.
Tips from campers about Beech Fork State Park
- SinclairTrails Ashland has one of the best dining scenes in the PNW, so be sure to explore some options (Cocorico was our favorite this time). Take in a show at the OSF, even if it's just the Green Show, which is free. The Oregon Cabaret is a fun experience as well. And don't forget to tour the many different wine trails in the area. We're partial to the Applegate Valley and Jacksonville wineries, such as Quady North.6 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park
- Joe Daly Ashland, surrounding wineries, Jacksonville and Emigrant Lake all offer lots of things to do and places to eat.9 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park
- Keith_491 Great camp site for visiting Ashland. Did see a number of boaters and fishing boats too. Bella Fiore winery is nearby and well worth the visit to their tasting area for wine and a good meal.10 months ago Emigrant Lake - The Point RV Park

“Lake views and fall colors”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Thanks to other commentators on the 6 miles of stress to get to the park. We were well prepared. The road was not busy so take your half from the middle and as long as the passenger does some spotting...

“Ok campground, rude gate guards.”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
The park is ok. The lake is VERY low. I had trouble getting around the lake on a paddle board. Gate guards were pretty rude and unhelpful. We did not remember the camp site number and there is no...
