“Excellent destination campground, not good for an overnight stay”

Great campground with lots of various sized cabins to rent. Very well maintained and beautiful. However, for us, it was a bad choice. I booked it for an overnight stay but it's so far from the highway...

Tips from campers about Ashland Resort
- C&JAdventure The owners allowed us to use the campgrounds address to make mail and package drops. In fact, they would receive them and promptly bring them by the site. If we weren't at the site, there was a post-it note telling us our package was in the office.2 years ago Brookside Campground
- The Kipps Found an apple orchard, Cedar Grove Orchard, with wonderful apples and honey. The Jay Hormel Nature Center and the Shooting Star Bike Trail kept us busy during the day.3 years ago Brookside Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Plan your route in, try to get you site in advance to avoid going to the check in with your RV or trailer set up. We prefer to come in via Northfork.

We rented an ATV from Ashland Company store, they were excellent and made the rental process very easy.
