Black Water Falls State Park is a short drive away near Davis WV. Our main activities were motorcycling and mountain biking both which were very enjoyable. As motorcycle riders we love to ride curvy, hilly roads for which this area has lots to offer....

There is a nice laundromat very close by. The local pizza place has decent pizza....

- SarahK1978 If you don't want to go all the way to Asheville, check out Chimney Rock! Cute little town and we took the dogs hiking up to the top of Chimney Rock - it's a lot of stairs (no dogs on the elevator) but they were able to take the shuttle bus to the base of the stairs.11 months ago 4 Paws Kingdom Campground & Dog Retreat
- Les35sa50 Shopping was fairly close and so were some restaurants, but we didn't eat at them. Some really nice wineries near by. It's about an hour from Asheville and Winston Salem. Asheville has a wonderful walking food tour & would recommend it. Explained all the fun things for dogs previously.
