Tip for Other Campers:
Check out Stonefield museum down the road a half hour drive. Old village set up complete with small farm, Wisconsin Agricultural Museum, and a mansion of the first governor of Wisconsin (rebuilt house after fire). Very well done and nice tour.
“Decent 1970 campground”

Pros: Pool, miniature golf, basketball court, store is nice.Cons: No wifi, no tv reception, not big rig friendly, our site didn't have sewer, after rain it's really muddy, sites hard to get in/out...

Tips from campers about Boulder Creek Campground
- JohnLoc843 Camping in Michigan for out of state campers is worth it, ONLY if you plan to camp at least a couple of weeks. That makes it worth buying two annual passes, one for the RV and one for the tow vehicle ($78), in addition to your camping fees of $45/night for electricity only. If you only plan to camp in Michigan less than a week, it's not worth it IMO, but if you can ignore the big fees and hassle, you'll enjoy the parks, most state parks having only electric with a dumpsite and water fill station2 years ago Grand Haven State Park

A wonderful park just off the Mississippi River near Prairie du Chien, WI. A beautiful area of western Wi. We camped at Boulder Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
