Tip for Other Campers:
If you need gas, I recommend the Modil station on 1st Center Avenue in Brodhead. The Gas Islands are angled so easy entry and exit. And a little further down the road is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. No Walmart in town.
Tips from campers about Crazy Horse Campground
- Lisa Grout Drive the Beartooth Hwy to Cooke City. Cooke City Coffee was amazing. Check out Red Lodgethe Soda Hole (Huckleberry Shake!), and Red Lodge Ales for brews/food.6 months ago Parkside
- imflyinby851 This CG is at the base of the Beartooth Scenic Byway and it is a must do. Red Lodge is an adorable town. Free dump at the Town Pump gas station. The brewery is a good -lace to get a bite to eat. Piccola Cucina looks like a great place for a nice meal. Small, cozy and quaint. Red Lodge Pizza was very good.8 months ago Parkside

Tip for Other Campers:
Try not to stay in the lower level if you can, the Area around the swim pond is wide open, no trees or shade and many of the sites have your door facing the sun, but they are nice sites with paved patio areas and full hookups.

Tip for Other Campers:
A short ride to town where you will find spots to eat. The historical museum has some great things for a small town. Sugar River bike trail is also a fun activity. Take a left when exiting the campground and a few miles down the road is a cheese factory with awesome eats!
