Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of restaurant choices in Milwaukee especially in the market at the 3rd Ward. Many museums, attractions, a great beach and lake walking/bike path. Also, lots of small towns close by to find local restaurants and shopping. The state park is a very popular swimming, fishing and picnicing spot for locals.

- Bob & Stephanie Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park about 26 miles away and well worth the visit. Went to All Gon pizza 4 miles east in Ft. Garland and it was not very good pizza, can't recommend it.5 years ago Blanca RV Park

Watch out for ticks and poison oak. Bathrooms have no running water as they are vault toilets. Must drive to shower house and dumpsters
