- Sam Cryer Go to Mecan River Outfitters & Lodge in Princeton, WI and kayak (or Canoe) the Mecan river. It is a great paddle and very relaxing. There are several Antique Shops in Princeton to visit as well. If you head East from the campground you will head to Ripon, WI which is a small college town and has a few attractions. Green Lake itself is a nice little town and worth the short trip in to see it. Fishing charters are available or rent a pontoon and see the lake.4 years ago Green Lake Campground
